The T-Factor Project is an European research project designed to promote new innovative and versatile approaches to urbanization, focusing on the potential value that the “meanwhile uses” have in creating inclusive, sustainable and dynamic urban areas.
In this new context of urban regeneration fits the Italian pilot project MIND Milan Innovation District, former EXPO 2015 area, selected form the T-Factor program. Started in June 2020, it has the aim to define the temporary use of the area, waiting for the Masterplan post Expo205 to be approved and realized definitively.
We of the Fervo Group are happy to have taken part in the initial phase of the project dedicated to understand and listen to the needs of the different realities of the territory (16 municipalities) and stakeholders of the MIND area, partecipating in meetings and surveys. Thanks to it, the lines of development characterized by the need to exploit the economic and cultural capital of the places have been identified, promoting more sustainable lifestyles.
Moreover, in the last quarter of 2021 round tables and co-creation of ideas workshops were organised to identify the priority activities and determine the steps to identify the priority activities and determinate the steps to be addressed. In the next two years, will be realized in fact two cycles of planning the “meanwhile activities” with the objective to create a cohesive and alive community.
